Prabhas' much-awaited film, Adipurush, has finally hit the screens today, June 16. After multiple delays and controversies, fans flooded Twitter with positive reviews and comments about the film.

The early morning shows in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were sold out, as fans eagerly celebrated Prabhas' portrayal of Lord Ram in this modern retelling of the Ramayana.

Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is an epic mythological film based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. It features Prabhas in the lead role, along with Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage.

The film, shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, is a joint production of T-Series and Retrophiles.

Adipurush was announced in August 2020 and commenced principal photography in February 2021, concluding filming in November 2021, with Mumbai as the primary location. With a budget of ₹500 crores (US$63 million), it stands as one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.

The film's music is composed by Ajay-Atul.

As the first shows came to an end, Twitter was buzzing with excitement as viewers shared their reviews. Many hailed Adipurush as Prabhas' grand comeback, praising his performance as Lord Ram.

Some described the film as a visually stunning and modern interpretation of the Ramayana.

Adipurush, released in theaters in 2D and 3D, garnered mixed reviews from critics. While the cast's acting received acclaim, there were some criticisms regarding the visual effects.

The film takes viewers on a mythological journey, following Prince Raghava of Ayodhya and his brother Lakshmana as they embark on a mission to rescue Raghava's abducted wife, Janaki, from the demon king Lankesh.

Adipurush showcases stunning action sequences and showcases the formation of the Ram Setu and the epic battle between good and evil.

Om Raut's directorial style brings a unique blend of Bollywood aesthetics and computer-generated graphics to this interpretation of the Ramayana.

While the film presents a visually grand experience, some critics felt it fell short of capturing the depth and religious sentiment of the original epic.

Prabhas delivers a commendable performance as Lord Ram, supported by the talented cast, including Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as the formidable Raavan.

However, it was Devdatta Nage's portrayal of Hanuman that added a touch of humor and depth to the film.

Adipurush, with its massive budget and extensive production, has been a project of great anticipation and expectations.

Despite the delays and controversies, it has finally made its way to the theaters, offering audiences a grand cinematic experience.

Fans and moviegoers can now witness the visual spectacle of Adipurush and immerse themselves in this larger-than-life retelling of the timeless epic.
